Taller de Gel Printing

Les invito al taller más esperado. Taller de Gel Printing auspiciado por @gelpress . Aprenderemos muchas técnicas de diseñar tus propios papeles utilizándo los "gel plates". No necesitas experiencia previa. Iremos paso a paso. Aprenderás muchas técnicas .

Trabajar con los "gel plates" es una experiencia relajante y muy gratificante cuando veas todo lo que puedes hacer.

Trabajaremos un pequeño "journal" utilizándo dies / troqueles de @eileenhull

y @sizzix el cuál nos servirá de "storage" de los papeles ya pintados.

Es un curso totalmente nuevo.

¿Qué incluye el kit?

" Gel Plate " tamaño 6" X 6" ,
"Brayer"
plancha de "Plexiglass" 8" X 10" que sirve para transportar y/o mover con facilidad el "gel plate" lo que facilitará ciertas técnicas de pintar.
Variedad de stencils.
materiales para hacer el mini "journal".
Todo lo incluído en el kit será completamente tuyo de forma tal que una vez finalice la clase podrás seguir practicándo en tu casa.

Tendremos pinturas acrîlicas para compartir. Si quieres traer tus propias pinturas lo puedes hacer pero no es necesario.

¿Qué debes traer?

Pega líquida y varios Glue Sticks
Tijera
regla
Pañitos húmedos - Chubs
guillotina
Blower para secado, puede ser Craft Heat Gun o blower de pelo. NO se puede utilizar el Heat Embosser por su alta temperatura. El blower es para acelerar el secado de los papeles. Si utilizamos uno con alta temperatura podemos hacerle daño al gel plate.

Opcional :

Te incluimos un Gel Plate tamaño 6 X 6 , si por casualidad tienes gel plates adicionales los puedes traer.
Tenemos pinturas para compartir en clase pero si tienes pinturas y prefieres usarlas la puedes traer.
Siempre es bueno traer un lápiz o bolígrafo para hacer anotaciones.

Getting out of my comfort zone. You all know that I love using lots of colors and textures. When I saw @eileenhull new dies, stamps and stencils collection I said “let’s do a monochromatic “ project. It was not easy, actually it was quite a challenge for me. But I did it and love the outcome.

I did this mini journal using @eileenhull Mini Book die from @sizzix .
It is all made from recycled materials. For the cover I used one of the @amazon shipping boxes. I exposed the corrugated layer of the box to give it some visual interest. I added some @primamarketinginc Waxes . For a gold metal look I added some Gold Rose @sizzix Luster Wax ( it is not showing that well in the photo). I did the front cover embellishment using my @cricut Maker.
For the inside I did 3 booklets which I book bound using waxed thread. The booklet pages are done from recycled paper. I painted them using my favorite @gelpress printing plate with acrylic paint. I am planning on using this mini book to write inspirational quotes.

Eileen Hull- Chapter 1 Release Party - January 2024.

Here are some of my samples for the Release Party. I will be posting more information, samples and ideas in the following weeks so come back to see.

2023 Round Up for Eileen Hull Designs.

This is my first time here trying to choose my favorite 3 (oh yeah !!! only 3 ) projects done as a Team Member for Eileen Hull Designs. It was not easy at all. I couldn't decide. So I went kind of random....and the winners are ......

Let's start with the top left one... The Collage Fodder Organizer vol. 1 . Here I mixed my two passions , Mixed Media and making books. For the Book I used Eileen Hull Passport Journal Die and the Thinlits Tiled Alphanumeric. Both from Sizzix. I did all the inserts out of recycled printer's paper. I use GelPress plates to add teh color and patterns. I decided to make 3 signatures. Attached them using some elastic for easy access and easy removal when needed. This is also a great way of storing your mixed media printed papers.

Now let's go to the top right project ... The Romantic Box. For the Box I used : Slotted Treat Box , Skinny Mini Elements, Envelope, Foldeer & Flower dies .

For the flowers I used the Envelope, Foldeer & Flower die. I did assembled the flower to make them 3D.

And the las project, the one to the bottom right ..The Sun Flower Mini Note Book. For this I used the Card Case die. For the flower I used Eileen's Sun Flower die . For the inside I added a small Composition notebook that I decorated using napkins as well as I did for the whole project. Thank to Eileen's for sending such a beautiful collection of napkins.

There is so much going on for 2024 that you don't want to missed. We are already working on new project designs.
