Christmas Banner

Scrapbooking is part of my life. It complements very well with my career as a Designer. My designs always have a theme, a purpose and a use. I love doing projects that I have a use for. Here I present this banner that I designed to decorate a small table in my living room. I cost me nothing because I did it using scraps of papers and car stocks I had. I'm pretty sure I would not find anything like this in the stores.

I invite you to my workshops so that you can do projects like this , with a purpose and use. You can refer to the right column under "Calendario de Talleres". There you can select and reserve the workshops of your interest.

To make the banner I used my new Cricut Explore Air 2. I bought the Cricut as and introductory offer in HSN ( Home Shopping Network). Part of the offer included a bundle with a 1 year subscription to the Cricut Design Space images. I looked all over for images with a Christmas theme. I wanted the banner to have paper piecing. I sized all the image so that they all matched in size and proportion.

To maintain unity and sequence I selected designer papers that matched with each other.  For the images I selected cardstocks that combined with the designer papers.  After cutting all the images I assembled them using 3m Quick Dry glue and for adding dimension I used foam dots.

It really was and easy and simple project.

3D Wisemen Card in a Box.

Finalmente me decidí y me encantó.
