Ya llegó la época del año...es Halloween. Y a tono con la época diseñé este layout para "Treasure Box Designs". Utilicé los files : " Spooky", "Build a Pumpkin" and a "Freebie - Cat". 

El file "Build a Pumpkin" está buenísimo pues contiene diferentes formas de calabazas y muchas caritas para "mix & match". Puedes diseñar tu propia calabaza con su única personalidad. Este es un file que debes tener contigo.

It is that time of the year ...Halloween is here ! I designed this layout for Treasure Box Designs using the files : "Spooky", "Build a Pumpkin" and "Freebie - Cat ".

The Build a Pumpkin file is a must have. It has different pumpkin shapes as well as different facial features for you to mix and match and design your own pumpkin with its unique personality.

Y sigo muy a tono con la época. Trabajé este layout para Treasure Box Designs utilizando sus files " Halloween Village (Beary Scary Inn)" y el file "Spooky".

Diseñé este party favor para Treasure Box Designs. El file que utilicé se llama "Spooky" . Contiene imágenes muy divertidas para hacer manualidades con el tema de Halloween. 

I did this party favor using Treasure Box Designs file Spooky. The file has very fun and cute Halloween images , the perfect ones for your handmade crafts. This file is a must have. 

Treehouse Boy

Disfruté muchísimo trabajando este layout utilizando el file "Treehouse Boy" de Treasure Box Designs. Lo que sí me sorprende es ¿de dónde salieron los nuditos esos que están en los frames donde van las fotos? Me acabo de dar cuenta ahora que estoy viendo la foto aquí. 

I enjoyed soooo much working with the file "Treehouse Boy " from Treasure Box Designs. 

6" X 6" Interactive Album

Aquí les presento el album que trabajamos en uno de los talleres. Lo importante era que las asistentes aprendieran la dinámica de como hacer el album utilizando chipboard y cardstock. Este no era un album existente que solo lo decorariamos si no que ellas mismas construyeron el album y luego lo decoraron. 

Se utilizó la colección de papel "Elemental" de Close To My Heart. Los botones, cintas, alfileres, "sparkles" y perlas son de Close To My Heart. Todo lo demás incluyendo las flores fueron hechas a mano y cortadas utilizando el Cartridge de la Cricut "Art Philosophy". Y para darle un poquito de brillo a las flores utilicé "Glitz - Stardust " de Close To My Heart. 

El album constaba de 8 páginas interactivas . Cada página con diseño único . Se utilizó la "Bind it All" para ensamblar el album. Se aprovechó la oportunidad para enseñarle a las asistentes a como utilizar la "Bind it All". 

This is the album that we did in one of my classes. This album was all hancrafted by the attendees. They actually build the album itself. We used the Close To My Heart paper collection " Elemental". The embellishments are from Close To My Heart as well. The flowers and all the decorative elements were cut using the new "Art Philosophy" Cricut Cartridge from Close To My Heart also. We added the "Glitz - Stardust"to the handmade flowers ...and you guess it...., the Glitz is also from Close To My Heart. =D

The album included 8 interactive pages and was assemble using the Bind it All machine. The proper use of this machines as well as some tips for using it was part of the class. 

Another Cricut - "Art Philosophy " project.

Esta corona está toda decorada con muuuuuchas flores hechas a mano. Las corté todas utilizando 3 diferentes imágenes de el Cartridge de la Cricut "Art Philosophy". Utilicé la colección de papel de Close To My Heart "Sonoma".  Me gustó mucho el resultado. Fueron muchas horas de trabajo pero valió la pena. Espero que les guste. 

I did this using lots and lots of handmade (by me ) flowers. I cut all the flowers using 3 different images from the "Art Philosophy" Cricut cartridge. I used Sonoma paper collection from Close To My Heart. It was lot of work but I like the final result. I hope you like it too :-) 

Romantic Shoe

Me encantan los zapatos. Y hasta perdí la cuenta de cuantos tengo. Y para no seguir comprando más zapatos he decidido hacerlos con materiales de scrapbooking. Mientras los estoy diseñando me imagino que son de verdad y a correr con la imaginación. Aquí el resultado. Este zapato me encanta todo. Los colores, las cintas, la flor y los "embelecos". Espero que a ustedes también les guste y lo disfruten.

I love shoes. I have so many that I lost the count. I decided  that in order for me not to buy more shoes I better start making them. Now I design shoes using scrapbooking materials. While I'm working on the design process I pretend they are for real and enjoy designing and crafting the shoes. I love how this particular one turned out . Very romantic and girly. I like the paper, ribbons and the flower. I hope you all like it as much as I do. 

Girly Shoe

Hace tiempito que no hacía zapatos utilizando materiales de scrapbook. Aquí les presento mi más reciente trabajo. Personalmente me encantó. Tiene todo lo que me gustaría en un zapato real, pues claro si lo hice a mi gusto. El zapato está completamente decorado con perlas y rhinestones . Realmente una belleza , muy delicado y femenino, como me gusta. Pendientes a más diseños.

I love doing this kind of artwork. A shoe a very romantic, delicate and feminine shoe. It is decorated with pearls and rhinestones. 

White, Pink and Gold

Diseñé esta postal para participar en el challenge de este mes de "Magnolia Down Under Challenge" . Para esta ocasión se pedía diseñar una postal utilizando un stamp de Magnolia y trabajar la postal con los colores rosa, blanco y dorado. Esto sería como parte de la campaña para combatir el cancer del seno. Es por esta noble causa que decidí aportar con mi diseño. Todos los elementos fueron cortados utilizando el Cartridge de la Cricut "Art Philosophy". La Magnolia la pinté utilizando los Copics. Me encanta el "girly look" de esta postal. 

I designed this card for the "Magnolia Down Under Challenge" . They are sponsoring this challenge in recognition that October is Breast Cancer Support Month. The challenge is a colour one. The card must be done using pink, white and gold.  I cut all the pieces using the Cricut Cartridge "Art Philosphy" . I colored the Magnolia with Copics. 

Magnolia Card

Diseñé esta tarjeta para Just Magnolia según el sketch de ellos. Lo más que me gustó de esta postal fue el poder darle color con los Copics a objetos 3D y de diferentes materiales y superficies. Para que tengan una idea todo lo que tiene tonalidad amarilla en su origen era blanco. Empezando por la mariposa las perlas, el alfiler, las flores y la cinta todas eran blanco. Mezclando los Copics ; Y13, Y000 y G40  logré pintar todas esas superficies y armonizarlas. Esta es una excelente opción para cuando no tienes esos "embellishments" de el color necesario para tu trabajo. Con los Copics lo puedes resolver. 

I designed this card according to Just Magnolia's sketch. The highlight of this card for me is the fact that I was able to colored the embellishments using the Copics. It was one of those occasions late at night when you are done with the cutting and coloring and are ready to assemble your card but at the time to embellished it you just realize that you do not have anything to match your color scheme. So I started experimenting with coloring my embellishments using Copics. And so I did. I used Copics ; Y13, Y000 & G40. All the elements that are kind of yellow were colored with Copics. It is amazing how well Copics work in all different kinds of surfaces and materials. 

Magnolia Party Favor

Aquí les presento un "party favor" fácil de hacer. Utilicé el cartridge de la Cricut "Art Philosophy" para cortar la ventana de el centro. Muy sencillo; seleccionas el centro del papel . En el panel de la Cricut oprimes el botón que dice "Center Point" , seleccionas la imágen que quieres utilizar como ventana y cortas. Esta herramienta de la Cricut es excelente pues con este método puedes prácticamente hacer ventanas de las formas que quieras. Un éxito. 

Para colorear la Magnolia utilicé los Copics y apliqué detalles con un gel pen blanco . Como accesorio apliqué "Liquid Pearl". 

Here is an easy to do party favor . I did it using the Cricut Cartridge "Art Philosophy". I did cut the window using the Cricut's feature "center point" . This allows for a perfect cut at the center point of your paper or the space that you selected. It is easy to do. Press "center point" then select the center point in your paper and guide your Cricut's cutting blade to that center point. Then select your image and cut. You can cut any shape and size for a window using this feature. 

Magnolia - Mini Altered Notebook #3

Libretita pequeña decorada utilizando un stamp de Magnolias. En esta ocasión estampé la imágen en papel para acuarela y le apliqué color utilizando los Copics. Es interesante ver como la textura de el papel de acuarela crea mayor interés en el color. 

Another  Magnolia mini notebook. This time I stamped the image on a watercolor paper. I colored it using  Copics. It is very interesting to see how the texture from the watercolor paper creates more interest and dimension on the colors. 

Magnolia - Mini Altered Notebook #2

Otra libretita decorada con Magnolia. Estampé la  Magnolia en Cardstock Cryogen. Utilicé los Copics para darle color a la imágen. El marco blanco en forma de scrallop ovalado lo corté utilizando el Cartridge de la Cricut "Art Philosophy". Y como detalle utilicé "Liquid Pearls". 

Another mini notebook decorated using a Magnolia stamp. I stamped the image on a Cryogen Cardstock. I used Copics to colored it. The white scallop oval frame I did it using the "Art Philosophy" Cricut Cartridge. As an embellishment I used Liquid Pearls.

Magnolia - Mini Altered Notebook

Decoré una pequeña libretita Composition Book tamaño 4 1/2" X 3 1/4" . Utilicé uno de los sellos de Magnolia que pinté con los Copics. Los papeles son de Close To My Heart. 

I decorated a mini  4 1/2" X 3 1/4" Composition Notebook using a Magnolia Stamp. I colored it using Copics. The papers and cardstocks are from Close To My Heart.

Magnolia's - Party Favor -

Diseñé este "party favor" para participar en un swap. Utilicé el Cartridge de la Cricut "Art Philosophy" para cortar la cajita y los "embellishments". La Magnolia la pinté utilizando Copics.

I designed this party favor for a swap. I did the box as well as the embellishments using the new "Art Philosophy" Cricut Cartridge from Close To My Heart. I use Copics for the Magnolia and liquid pearl.

Back To School - Layout

Uno de mis files favoritos de Treasure Box Designs - " Back To School " . Me divertí mucho trabajando este diseño donde resalté las imágenes con el uso de color, mucho color brillante, juvenil y alegre. Este es uno de esos trabajos donde tienes los papeles perfectos con las imágnes que te encantan. Espero que a ustedes les guste el resultado tanto como a mí me divirtió trabajar este proyecto. Más adelante les presentaré otra versión de este file. Luego les cuento y mientras tanto que lo disfruten.

One of my favorite Treasure Box Designs file - "Back To School". I really enjoy working with this file. It has the perfect images and I have the perfect paper for this. I use lots of brilliant colors to give it a juvenile look. I hope you enjoy this layout as much as I love working with this file.
